Job Description

Electrical Design Engineer (Direct-hire) Loveland, CO

Volt has partnered with a growing & innovative technology provider in search of an Electrical Design Engineer. In this role, you will collaboratively prioritize requirements with customers, Sales, Marketing, Service and/or Manufacturing and co-workers on the engineering team. You will also determine the architecture and detailed design approach execute & review designs and develop and execute test plans & procedures for the product.


  • Analog measurement circuit design – amplifiers, filters, analog switches, sources and detectors
  • Familiarity with digital system design including embedded processors, digital filters, data conversion, FPGA
  • System level design
  • Mentor schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Lab skills for turn on, debug and troubleshooting


  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience with, or exposure to; analog PCB and circuit design, digital circuit design, FPGA, Design of Experiments, signal processing, Mentor schematic and PDB design tools, circuit turn on and troubleshooting, circuit analysis, document control, design for manufacturing, failure mode effects analysis.

  • 3 phase power system and large electric motor familiarity
  • High voltage design (to 15KV)
