Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Washington, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 1+ years.   

Must be available to work W2 for Volt, No C2C or 3rd party vendors  

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Wiring Harness / Cable design, detailing, and/or routing
  • Creating concepts and direct the design and development of complex engineering projects
  • CAD design skills; preference for experience with Creo/Pro-E, Capital Harness, or Creo Schematic
  • Managing the team’s NPI design deliverables and Drawing Release Quality 
  • Collaborate with design partners, and the core Product Group

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum
  • Strong understanding of electrical controllers, harnesses, components, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Design
  • Components and systems, preferably in TTT

Top candidates will also have:

  • Demonstrated Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience with NPI, CPI, DCC, FMEA, Cost, and Teamcenter tools/process. 
  • Will require strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Creo or other modeling or simulation tools
