Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic to work with an established company in Denver.  This is a second shift position, 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete a “Maintenance Task Hazard Assessment” for each non-routine task
  • Respond to emergency machine breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Perform preventive maintenance duties on equipment 
  • Troubleshooting and repair of AC / DC drives, PLC’s, electrical systems, electrical equipment, piping systems, plant machinery and equipment
  • Perform various inspections and testing

On The Job Requirements: 

  • Required participation in and successfully completing training programs to include; NFPA 70E electrical training, out of plant and in-plant instruction, CPR & First-aid qualification training
  • You will be required to become a member of the emergency response team, complete vendor training, OSHA and weekly safety related training, etc. 
  • Must have or obtain own tools and a lockable tool box
  • The ability to climb and work in high places.
  • Ability to work in confined and hot places, e.g., starch tanks, etc. 
  • Work with hazardous materials
  • Ability to read, interpret, scale, and re-scale blueprints, operating manuals, and schematic diagrams
  • Have mechanical and logical problem solving  


  • One year experience in an industrial maintenance related field
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to distinguish colors 
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift license
