Job Description

Electrical/System Engineer Position!

Located in Everett, WA

Estimated to be a 6 month assignment

Looking for those with experience designing military or critical civil avionics control products, and high level system and subsystem hardware requirement knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

Produce electrical deliverables according to rigorous phase gate development process and development standards. These include aircraft electrical interface description, hardware requirements, design description, hardware/software interface description, theory of operation, test plans, test procedures including test acceptance criteria, functional block diagrams, engineering analysis (math, simulation, & experimentation), bill of material, component symbols, schematics, constraints, and gate review records.

Develop, manage, and track status of product technical performance and electrical requirements.

Assist the program manager in the successful execution of all electrical tasks to meet schedule and budget expectations.

Prepare technical presentations for customers, engineers, and executive management.


Proven experience with completed and certified development programs.

10 years of experience in development digital and analog circuits for aerospace and defense.

Expert in development of avionics hardware systems.

Expert knowledge of commercial standard DO-254.

Expert knowledge of the latest industry concerns applicable to piece part component selection and management.

Expert knowledge of avionics control and data interfaces: ARINC 429, etc.

Aerospace electronics best design practices.

High level knowledge in multiple design and analysis tools such as FPGA/PLD, schematics, simulation, mathematics.

Education: BSEE or MSEE degree from accredited school.
