Job Description

Under limited supervision duties include but are not limited to performing system and sub assembly level repairs, builds, and upgrades by following Assembly Instructions and working to drawings.

  • Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal direction
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, connector pin outs, blueprints.
  • Solder and build various types of boards, wires and wire harnesses by laying out wires, lacing, crimping and populating various connectors.
  • Assembly required
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of IPC-A-620 Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001 Soldering Requirements is a plus.
  • Must be able to inspect/evaluate optics per drawing/WC and know how to verify all entries in VM
