Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Electronics Systems Engineer to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in Waterloo, IA. This is a contingent position expected to last 1 year.   

Primary Job Responsibilities will include

  • Support Systems engineers with schematic and harness drawing updates and reviews
  • Populate library of electronic components in electronic systems engineering tool (PREEvision)
  • Create, update and review vehicle network data weekly
  • Schedule and track systems engineering team's work activities
  • Track and review changes to production configuration parameters

What Skills You Need

  • Product Engineering experience in electrical/electronic domain
  • Experience in design and development of electrical / electronic systems to meet customer requirements
  • Experience with electronic system that includes controllers, sensors and actuators

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

  • Knowledge  of tractor electrical and electronic systems
  • Hands on Experience in  embedded software design and development
  • Knowledge and understanding of vehicle networks and protocols (CAN, J1939, ISOBUS etc.)


Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:                                    

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
