Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is supporting a client that distributes flat panel radiation sources. The Company products include Ultra Violet Panels, flat panel x-ray sources, and digitally addressable x-ray sources. 

This client is looking to bring on a temporary Electronics Assembler, Filament and Cold Cathodes.

Job Duties:  Working under supervision of research engineers, assemble filament and cold cathode electron emitter arrays.  Assembly will require precise positioning of cathodes under a microscope or screen, temporary securing of the cathodes in their frame, and then spot welding or adhesive attachment for permanent placement.

The assembly technician will communicate any variances or problems to the research engineer and fill in lot traveler or assembly instruction sheet as processes are completed. 

Skills Required:  
- 1 to 2 years experiences with spot-welding small parts by hand or automated tool
- Ability to read basic drawings, follow instructions and log processes completed with high accuracy
-  Ability to work on station for several hours (with appropriate breaks) and weld small parts under a magnifier/microscope
