Electronics Technician 


Job Summary:

We are looking for an electronics test technician to support our manufacturing, test and calibration.  This position must also support sales, and engineering needs as required.  A solid experience in electronics diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting is required.  This position must also assure that the requirements of the product being manufactured are met with regard to expected quality, operation, functionality, and conformance to specifications. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have thorough understanding of electronics with experience in electronic sensing a plus
  • Able to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCB’s) at the component level.
  • Must understand how to operate and use PC computers.
  • Must be able to write effectively and communicate technical problems into words
  • Performs production test and inspection activities
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs PCB’s from production and RMA’s.
  • Produces reports for test results.  Analysis of production test results, failure modes and RMA summaries.
  • Troubleshoot nonfunctional production units, prepare reports for management and engineering valuation and analysis.
  • Provides receiving and shipping support through functional test of parts and product
  • Provides production non-testing support as required
  • Provides engineering and sales support when required.
  • Works closely with the Engineering Team

  • Skilled with Microsoft office, computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot pc software issues.
  • Possess excellent organizational and follow up skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can work and solve problems independently.
