Job Summary:

The Employee Relations Administrator will provide administrative support to the Montreal Employee Relations team and assist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain employee records and files
  • Scan and file benefit documents alongside the personnel files
  • Organize the new hires onboarding process
  • Prepare all orientation and training paperwork
  • Conduct new employee orientation
  • Complete all assignments in the new applicant tracking system with all required information
  • Complete all required forms and notifications for various ER related information, such as new hire paperwork and change of status forms such change of address, change of benefit, change of SIN, change of tax information
  • Draft employment letters
  • Ensure all data in our systems is up-to-date
  • Create a monthly report on the employees’ data
  • Provide administrative reports
  • Schedule the employees’ shifts
  • Update employee telephone hotline
  • Schedule meetings if required
  • Assist in any event coordination
  • Distribute and mail pay checks
  • Ability to organize/photocopy/scan high volumes of paperwork
  • Maintain and promote positive and professional working relationships with employees and managers
  •  Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Provide support to various ER functions such as payroll, benefits
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bilingual: French & English is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effectively communicate in-person with internal staff, external customers and field employees
  • Flexible and adaptable, team player
  • Able to prioritize workload effectively with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in managing multiple projects/deadlines
  • Understands and respects the highly-confidential and sensitive nature of the work.
