Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate need to fill 4 new open positions with our program team located onsite with one of our largest clients in Elk Grove, California.  

We are looking for experienced, adaptable, customer service focused, self-starters to fill the following roles:

  • Employee Relations Specialist (Day Shift)
  • Employee Relations Specialist (Swing Shift)
  • Program Coordinator (Swing Shift)
  • Onsite Coordinator (Swing Shift)

Successful candidates joining our team in each of these roles will be contributing to the continued success of our rapidly growing workforce onsite, by providing employee relations support to new and existing employees, as well as, assisting with the daily onsite operations support to our client, employees and program team.

As the successful Employee Relations Specialist/Program Coordinator joining our team, you will have:

  • Proven track record of success in employee relations, management and/or extensive customer service support.

Your daily responsibilities as the Employee Relations Specialist will include:

  • Build positive working relationships with all field employees.
  • Encourage employees to develop skill sets.
  • Build positive working relationship with client managers.
  • Address, investigate and resolve employee relations.
  • Escalate employee relations matters.
  • Manage and conduct quality reviews for new employees.
    • 5 days on assignment
    • 10 days on assignment
    • 30 days on assignment
  • Understand client manager’s staffing needs.
  • Perform floor walk-through's multiple times throughout the day.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all Volt and client policies and procedures being carried out.
  • Assist in any event coordination.
  • Conduct all on boarding processes including Orientations.
  • Assist employees with personnel questions regarding their assignment such as:
    • W4 Changes
    • Address Changes
    • Direct Deposit/ Money Network
    • VSS Inquiries
    • Attendance point inquiries
    • Sick time facilitation
    • Verification's

What the hiring manager is looking for in their ideal Employee Relations Specialist/Program Coordinator:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • College/technical/trade school degree/certification in Human Resources, Employee Relations or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2+ year experience in heavy customer service position.
  • Minimum of 2+ year experience in a role providing or assisting with employee relations, staffing/recruiting, on-boarding, new hire orientation/even coordination and employee payroll highly preferred.
