Engine Harness Design Engineer in Griffin, GA at Volt

Job Description

VOLT is hiring for an Engine Harness Design Engineer to work onsite for our customer located in Griffin, GA in a contingent position forecasted for 1 year. The Engine Harness Design Engineer will be responsible for developing harnesses, cable and electrical schematics for customer marine propulsion and auxiliary engines, marine gensets, and other marine electronic products. The engineer is responsible for releasing and maintaining drawings of harness assemblies, wiring groups and related components. Design harnesses and related groups for new product and coordinate design changes for existing product.

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with CAD tools: Autocad, ProE, Creo or other
•  Experience with Engineering Data Systems (EDS) and TeamCenter
• Knowledge of APQP and PPAP process
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Proven abilities to work with internal teams and external suppliers
• Highly organized person with proven electronic troubleshooting skills

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.  No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
