Job Description

Sr. Systems Engineer (8-month contract)

St. Paul, MN $45-47/hr.

We are looking for a high caliber Systems Engineer to support the Systems Engineering team. You will support the design, development and test of Electrophysiology Medical Systems for Navigation, Mapping and Ablation.


  • Execute on-time completion of systems engineering deliverables
  • Lead concepts of operation reviews and updates to meet end user needs.
  • Follow systems engineering process flows to integrate system, software and hardware changes and updates
  • Development and analysis of system requirements
  • Coordinate multiple engineering discipline teams
  • Development of system architectures and specifications
  • Conduct subsystem integration
  • Problem documentation and resolution
  • Support tasks within a larger effort such as definition, verification or product development of a system, and drives them to on-time, high quality completion.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain high standards for content completion, integrity, and regulatory & standards compliance
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by functional management based on the current project/business objectives including 10% travel, including international travel and regular predictable attendance


  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Systems, Computer Science, Electrical, Computer Systems, Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressively more responsible work experience in R&D product development.
  • Strong technical background with solid understanding of engineering discipline fundamentals in multiple areas.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
