Position:        Engineering Analyst

Location:        Indianapolis, IN (NW Side)

Status:            Statement of Work - 12 month contract

Volt is seeking job seekers for a Statement of Work contract with one of our clients on Indianapolis’ Northwest side.

Job Description

The right candidate is going to have experience working on costing, contract pricing, creating quotes and estimates, be able to work both independently and as a member of a team, be self motivated, have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, have experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, and have great written and oral communication skills.

This role will work with members from various internal departments throughout a project to manage cost, set proper customer expectations, complete forecasting based on requests from customers, support APQP meetings. There are aspects of this role where you will be working independently, and others where you are managing the project.

This role will support the following areas of work:

  • Contract Pricing Review
  • Create Working files
  • Log TR numbers
  • Create file structure
  • MLG and Die Cut Costing
  • Request Quotes from SLP
  • Support APQP meetings
  • S&OP Forecasting
  • MSA requests and tracking
  • Trade Compliance and requests

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree (Engineering or related field is preferred)
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with Costing Models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints

  • SAP Experience

  • Acoustic / Thermal Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
