Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking qualified candidates to join one of our leading clients located in Mabank, TX.  We are seeking someone with exceptional technical skills to fill the role of Associate Quality Engineer (Databook Coordinator).

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage Project Inspection & Test Plans (ITP):
    • Create initial ITP based on project ACS selections
    • Deliver initial ITP revision to Project Management for Customer Approval
    • Release approved ITP to suppliers (internal and external to Solar)
    • Maintain future revisions to ITP, and release to suppliers as needed.
  • Create Project Databook
    • Collect inspection checklists, stamp-off-sheets, certificates of conformance, and other documents from internal and external sources required by the ITP
    • Compile documents into data book template
    • Obtain data book approval from Project Management
    • Copy approved Databook to CD using CD Burner
    • Deliver CD copy of Databook and soft copy (PDF) to customer as specified in Databook request
  • Update and Maintain facility training software
    • Send weekly, monthly, annual reports on training status
    • Flag outdated training and send report to employee and manager
    • Update training records with new training dates
    • Update training requirements in the system as needed
    • Work with each department to ensure ISO compliance to training requirements
  • Support PRU Internal Audit Schedule
    • Obtain Internal Audit certification and training
    • Schedule, conduct and report findings of assigned internal audits
  • Support Material Review and Corrective Action Meetings
    • Attend Bi-Weekly MRCA meetings
    • Participate in Corrective Action process as assigned
  • Recommend product/process improvements
  • Support Change Implementation
  • 6-Sigma project assignments
  • Attend weekly PSS meetings, ITP and Databook Status meetings, project tollgate meetings, and all other ITP and Databook related meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Adobe Professional, or other PDF editor tools
  • Proficient in Office 365 Tools:
    1. SharePoint
    2. Teams
    3. Visio
    4. Excel
    5. Word
  • Self-Starter that does not require micro-management
  • Excellent Two-Way Communication Skills
  • Flexible employee willing to work in a team environment
  • Maintain high level of quality with a customer focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with ITPs and Databook creation.
  • Degree preferred, high school diploma or GED with a similar background would be considered in lieu of degree.
