             Seeking Engineer Technical Writer

Through niche recruiting expertise and project management, VWS delivers solutions in IT, Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Administrative, Call Center, Human Resources, Technical and Creative Communication, and Manufacturing.

Volt is actively recruiting for an Engineer Technical Writer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Monroe, NC. Position is temporary to hire for the right candidate. Candidates will need to be available to work 40 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate will work with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Candidate will be updating process drawings and label valves. Will be reviewing all piping systems in building; identifying and correcting any and all drawings; very detailed; extensive experience required.

Duties Include:
• Migrate Quality Management System procedures from shared drives to Product Lifecycle Management software (Enovia)
• Migrate manufacturing documentation from shared drives to Enovia platform
• Assist with migrating CAD drawings from 5 different CAD software tools to Enovia platform
• Cross reference Bill of Material items with legacy part numbers
• Assist with building Engineering Bill of Materials in Enovia platform
• Assist with connecting eBOMs to product documentation and model numbers

Basic Qualifications:
• High School degree
• Attention to detail
• Proficient writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results by due dates
• Knowledge of ISO 9001
• Ability to read drawings and understand Bill of Material structure

Preferred Qualifications:
• College degree in a Science field
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software, Enovia specifically
• Knowledge of BOM items: Design parts, Commercial parts, Raw Materials, Semi-finished, and Finished Goods
• Project Management experience
• ASQ – CQA certified
