Job: Enrollment Auditor

Our client has a need for an Enrollment Auditor for their facility in Meridian, Idaho. This is a temp to hire position and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. Job Summary:

As an Enrollment Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and compliant processing of all Medicare Advantage eligibility transactions according to Medicare (CMS0) and State guidelines through coding, entering, quality checks and workflow development.  Ensure transactions successfully interface with downstream Federal, State and vendor systems.  Provide accurate and timely responses to member inquiries, correspondence, surveys and billing option requests.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Required Experience:

  • One-year general office experience

  • Accurately translate and code enrollment forms for entry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with a Medicare Advantage program
  • Experience in reconciliation and bookkeeping
  • Experience researching multiple databases and applying regulations

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Research enrollment and disenrollment requests for completeness using all CMS regulations and timeframes.  Accurately determine Medicare Advantage election periods and effective dates for enrollment and disenrollment requests prior to CMS submission.  Research CMS Marx system and State Medicaid database for eligibility verification and for problem resolution.
  2. Process enrollment and disenrollments, group changes, plan transfers and reinstatements in compliance with all CMS regulations and timeframes.
  3. Ensure timely and compliant follow up on incomplete enrollment and disenrollment requests.
  4. Review Medicare Interface input data for accuracy and resolve errors prior to CMS submission.
  5. Perform quality checks on enrollment processing transactions, providing input and updates to workflows, training programs and quality assurance tools, as required.
  6. Ensure Working Aged (WA) and Late Enrollment Penalty (LEP) surveys are sent, tracked and managed in accordance with CMS regulations and timeframes.
  7. Process weekly CMS Transition Reply Report (TRR), ensuring timely and compliant letters & correspondence are printed, archived and mailed within CMS timeframes.
  8. Ensure CMS State & County Code/out of area transactions are processed, tracked and resolved in compliance with all CMS regulations and timeframes.
  9. Research and respond to member inquiries and Medicare complaints received by the team from internal departments, as well as external entities such as Employer Groups and State Medicaid staff.
  10. Ensure all documents are received, tracked and archived in accordance with CMS regulations and BCI departmental policies.

SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Provide back-up coverage throughout the area and be available for over-time, as requested by the supervisor.
  2. Perform training and quality checks for temporary staff in conjunction with the Enrollment Processor II, during annual enrollment periods.
  3. Build case files, copy in response to internal, State and Federal audits.
  4. Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor.
