SUMMARY

We are seeking an individual to fill a position as a Enterprise App Supervisor with a company local to Grant County, WA.

Position Summary:

This supervisory position provides leadership and supervision of the Enterprise Applications function and team of professional staff in the support, operation and life-cycle management of the Enterprise Applications portfolio and their specific product roadmaps at Grant PUD.

Job Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Define and prioritize project and resource schedules that align with enterprise application roadmaps, technology, Utility strategy and project demand.
  • Responsible for ensuring technology standards are followed and advanced, and that appropriate security and operational controls are implemented to safeguard Utility applications.
  • Responsible for ensuring a high level of stakeholder satisfaction is attained while providing services in coordination with Project Managers and enterprise application stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach staff, fostering goal-oriented thinking.
  • Provides leadership and direct feedback to employees regarding performance, career goals, risk management, project goals and stakeholder interactions.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings and communication with business partners and other IT groups to remove impediments, plan and coordinate activities, manage relationships, and resolve conflicts.
  • Support management of the Technology and project budgets including current spending, future spending, and ways to improve efficiency and optimize spending.
  • Lead, organize and proactively engage in department transformation initiatives to improve quality and professionalism of work.
  • Establish and measures Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet department expectations and SLAs.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of our safety program, including but not limited to:
    • Following all safety policies and procedures;
    • Alerting supervisors and coworkers to unsafe or hazardous working conditions;
    • Reporting any safety incidents or close calls within 24 hours to your supervisor; and
    • Accepting feedback from supervisors and coworkers regarding your own safety performance.
  • Accept responsibility for safety of all team members and model safe behaviors by:
    • Clearly defining and completing performance-focused safety activities required of you and your team.
    • Supporting work stoppages by employees when they identify unsafe/hazardous working conditions.
    • Acknowledging compliant safety behaviors and good safety performance from members of your team(s).

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
  • 3 years’ supervisory or team lead experience and 7-10 years’ experience in Information Technology.
  • Certification in Business Systems Analysis, Cyber Security, ITIL, IT Service Management certifications and Customer Service experience are desirable but not required.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge/Skills of - Utility’s computer environment and policies; Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies, business analysis, applications support, programming, testing, quality assurance, system design, databases, IT best practices, and internal controls; Federal and State rules and guidelines;

Special Requirements

A valid State driver’s license is required. Occasional travel to other Grant County PUD locations required.
