Entry Level EDM Machine Operators $14-17/hr in Lake Forest, CA at Volt

Job Description

Volt has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Lake Forest to help identify multiple entry level EDM Machine Operators for both 1^st and 2^nd shift.  

Duties:

• Operated machines in a machine shop environment
• Follow machine procedures
• Read prints
• Learn set up, power setting, and off-sets
• Measure parts to be machined
• Use comparators, tool maker’s microscopes, etc
• Use measuring devices, gage blocks and dial indicators
• Perform inspection  

Requirements:

• Must have experience using calipers and micrometers
• Must have basic machine operating experience, loading and unloading parts

Positions are temp to hire. Pay rate is $15 - 17/hr based on experience. The schedules are M-F from 7am – 3:30 or 3:30pm to 12am with overtime required as needed.
