Join the team as we build and start manufacturing in our new facility in Sherman, Texas.


  • Maintain and upgrade the various tools used in the Fab, Back End and Assembly.
  • Coordinate/perform both reactive maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance on various wafer and assembly processing tools to maintain optimal uptime. This includes all support equipment such as pumps, power supplies, and gas cabinets.
  • Track, record and communicate progress of maintenance work being performed on Fab, Back End and Assembly equipment, as well as scheduling planned downtime.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors (equipment manufacturers, raw material, etc.)
  • Maintain Inventory Management of system-critical components
  • Train new personnel
  • Be a member of the location’s Emergency Response Team (ERT)


  • Associate’s degree in electronics or similar technical field
  • Three to five years’ experience working with III-V material and maintaining wafer processing equipment.
  • Three to five years’ experience working in a clean room environment within the semiconductor industry.
  • Familiarity with basic chemistry (acids and solvents).
  • Technical Skill Requirements:  Vacuum Systems, Photo Resist, Coat & Develop, gas controls, mass flow controllers, valves, fittings, etc.
  • Familiar with various wafer fab and back-end tools, such as, Plasma Therm RIE etchers, LAM auto etchers, PECVD deposition machines, Novellas Gasonics photo resist strippers, Temescal metal evaporators, MRC sputtering systems, Ultratech steppers, Laurier pick & place, Kaijo wire bonders, Datacon die attach.
  • Knowledge of laser structure processing and characterization.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude skills.
  • Knowledge of how to read electronic schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Individual must be self-motivated and be able to organize and manage his/her daily work with minimal direction.
  • Individual must have strong interpersonal/teaming and verbal communications skills.
  • Individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Project (or similar software).
  • Problem Solving: Able to troubleshoot to root cause and analyze collected data for continuous improvement.
  • Teamwork: Shares knowledge to achieve team goals.
  • Organization: Able to balance planned and unplanned activities in a timely, professional manner.
