Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:15pm -10:45pm

Pay: $18.90/hour


Under the direction of management, the Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing basic installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, function testing and support for facility production equipment.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment and components
  • Perform preventive maintenance on facility production equipment
  • Responds to urgent maintenance projects/requests in support of manufacturing
  • Ability to read and understand operating instructions and mechanical/electrical drawings
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of assembly machinery
  • Assist with facility repairs (i.e. minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC inspection/cleaning/belt replacement, drywall and painting as requested by facilities management).
  • Complete maintenance documentation (i.e. forms, work orders, work instructions, preventative maintenance) utilizing cGDP
  • Must follow safety rules and ensure compliance with facility SOP’s and cGMP
  • May perform other general labor duties as needed (i.e. load/operate compactor and cardboard baler, trash removal, forklift-pallet jack operations and provide escort of contractors through facility).
  • May perform additional support for packaging operations, facilities as requested by management.

 Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in controlled room environments requiring special gowning including positive air pressure respirator (PAPR), protective clothing for face, hands, feet and body
  • Will be potentially exposed to dust
  • Will work around moving equipment and machinery
  • Will be required to stand and/or walk continuously
  • Will be required to reach above/below the shoulder and kneel for in one hour intervals
  • Will be required to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to move freely throughout the facilities on a continuous basis
  • Must have a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Must demonstrate ownership and accountability in all aspects of job performance


High school diploma or equivalent.

AA degree or equipment trade certificate preferred
