Job Description

VOLT is seeking candidates for "Event Manager" role for our client in Seattle, WA. This is 100% remote contract position.

MUST HAVES:

3-5 years of experience Tradeshow Management

Experience with Virtual and Live Events

Experience getting exhibits in place

Credentials: CTSM / CMP (Preferred)

Salesforce (Plus)

JIRA/Atlassian (Plus)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute third party events – Manage timelines, deliverables, vendors, invoicing, contracting and logistics. Lead cross functional team in planning and execution and create workspace for planning and reporting. Track and analyze spend and performance and report back to stakeholders.
  • Research and recommend virtual event best practices, marketing activities, data collected – The shift to virtual events requires great agility to adjust to new formats and conditions. The Event Manager will continuously evaluate industry developments and trends and test new marketing activities to make real time adjustments to maximize performance.
  • Assist with budgeting process, reporting and data analysis – Know and own the event KPIs and data to prepare reports and make recommendations. Assist in setting up tools and workspaces for reporting and budgeting.
  • Develop a keen understanding of third party event program – Work with, and advise Audience Managers, Partner Marketing Managers and other stakeholders on the fit of events to their marketing message and objectives.
  • General department admin support and lead POC for Modus and Workfront solutions – Assist the team in cleaning up campaigns and data and updating and maintaining workspace content. Provide possible onsite event support as needed. Lead integration of campaign management solution and lead-scan integration for the department.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of large scale events
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables and finding creative ways to do more with less while staying on budget
  • Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action and curiosity to learn and “figure things out”
