Job Description

What you do as an Expense Analyst:

  • FTE Basis preparation and upload quarterly
  • Update MIDASplus
  • Maintain user access
  • Generate reports from PeopleSoft as needed and develop process in Workday
  • Perform timesheet maintenance, run reports and queries within Labor Cost system
  • Run reconciliation queries in preparation for expense allocations
  • Assist with ad-hoc expense variance analysis and reporting
  • Assist with presentation materials for reports and budget
  • Using Query tools, Excel, and SmartView, work with Expense Analysts and Manager to retrieve information from the General Ledger
  • Summarize and present information to assist in making decisions
  • Develop reconciliation process for key accounts
  • Prepare Journal Entries in support of quarterly reporting
  • Support FP&A in quarterly reporting processes
  • Support FP&A in various budgeting needs
  • Maintain good working relationships and effective communication lines
  • Identify automation opportunities

Required Skills:

  • Accounting Knowledge (with a four-year degree in accounting, finance or business administration)
  • Proficient experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure within specified time frames
  • Ability to deal with confidential information and situations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prepare presentations for a variety of audiences
