Volt Workforce Solutions is working with a premier manufacturing company in Delano, MN, and they are hiring for a Fabrication Machine Operator!

Position will be responsible for:

• References prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials, resources, and proper tooling for machine set-up to complete job specifications.
• Installs aligns, and locks specific punches, dies, or fixtures in machine beds in accordance with work instructions
• Monitors, measures, and records work pieces per documented procedures by testing / inspecting product using a variety of metrologies including, but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, pin gages, check fixtures, and laser vision to ensure accuracy of machine operation and conformance to Quality standards 
• Performs minor machine maintenance and preventative checklist such as checking machine fluids, oiling machines, dies, or work pieces, ensuring emergency stops and mats are in place
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists in solving work problems
• Demonstrate consistent commitment to quality and possess exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrates familiarity and consistently complies with ISO 9001 standards and practices
• Maintains clean and efficient work space 
• May assist in training machine operators

Qualifications:

• Strong math skills, visual inspection and computer abilities necessary
• Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders, specifications and verbal direction
• High School education or equivalent 
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Able to work collaboratively and/or independently
• Must be able to independently lift/carry 40 pounds
• Forklift certification may be required

1st Shift - Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm - $16.00-$17.00 per Hour
