Volt in Fresno has a great opportunity for a Fabricator!! Below is a description of what you will be doing!!

  • Layout and fabricate component parts from a variety of Metals and other materials.
  • Work from work-orders, engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to meet necessary quality requirements and time frames required to safely complete projects
  • Install/remove product, troubleshoot issues, suggest enhancements and communicate to appropriate parties for future installations
  • Utilize various fabrication, assembly and installation tools including but not limited to MIG Welding, vertical band saw, drill press, CNC plasma, CNC milling, press brake forming, grinders...etc.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a fabrication shop
  • Working knowledge of fabrication and installation tools to include hand tools and power tools
  • Working knowledge of forklifts, CNC plasma, CNC milling,  CNC programming, etc.(Desired)
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from work-orders, engineering drawings and sketches
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
