Job Description:

TEMPORARY PROJECT FROM JULY TO OCTOBER 2020. PROJECT WILL BE BASED ON LOUISVILLE, KY IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA.

*DUE TO COVID-19 CANDIDATES WILL BE WORK AT HOME UNTIL HUMANA FACILITIES RE-OPEN.  CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE ONSITE DAILY ONCE THE HUMANA FACILITIES RE-OPEN. PARKING IS NOT PAID FOR AND WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CANDIDATE.

HOURS: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm *MUST BE FLEXIBLE* (NOTE: Classes start promptly at 8am, however the expectation is that the trainer is there a minimum of 45-60 minutes prior to class start time and completing some training related paperwork

NOTES: Hiring Leaders are seeking candidates with an analytical/strategic viewpoint (potential technical facilitation background can be even more helpful). There are numerous systems and process that they will be training on, so that background is going to be of great value. A candidate with a facilitation background for “soft skills” may not necessarily be the right match. Someone with a “mind for process.”  Candidates will Virtual experience using Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams is highly desired.

Candidates selected for this project will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of training programs for internal associates across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering virtual and instructor led training
  • Review and select appropriate materials for training resources
  • Create an engagement environment that is conductive to learning and informative
  • Monitor training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements
  • Evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the field as needed
  • Analyzes course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to provide suggested changes for improvement to leaders within the department
  • Makes decisions regarding their work methodology and requires minimal direction

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling duties as detailed above
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Primarily Outlook, Project, & PowerPoint)
  • Can facilitate from a given curriculum and understand adult learning
  • Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience
  • Experience managing projects or processes

EDUCATION

Bachelors’ Degree, Masters Preferred
