Job Description

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for Coordinating and Planning Maintenance of all Production Equipment, Machinery, Facilities, Building Maintenance and MRO Stockroom Inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maximize Equipment reliability through using a CMMS Planned Maintenance Program to include updating all tasks within this system.
  • Coordinate Facility Maintenance needs with Facility Technicians and outsourcing as required – hands on required.
  • Assist with Planning and Managing Facility and Equipment PM Agreements.
  • Manage Daily Maintenance running-log and data collection accordingly.
  • Review and assign Work Requests in CMMS system.
  • Assist with Soliciting suppliers and other vendors in order to procure the supplies and/or contractors needed to complete a repair, task, or project.
  • Inventory Control of MRO Stockroom.
  • Other duties as assigned.

education and experience

  • Preferred Associate’s degree in a technical or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment with appropriate skills.

job knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Manufacturing, Facilities and Spare parts inventory control experience.
  • Extensive CMMS expertise.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and math skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions, blueprints, schematics and drawings, and procedure manuals.
  • Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) and solid leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives.
  • Proven ability to Propose and implement improvements.
  • Computer proficiency with email and with Microsoft office suite.
  • Basic knowledge of key OSHA regulations.
  • Forklift driving capabilities.

Physical demands

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs to lift, reach, push and pull.  Will stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, and moderate noise.
