Are you a Facilities Technician looking for your next position? Volt has an immediate start for a Facilities Technician 1, 2 & 3 in Fremont, CA!!!

Facilities Tech 1 

Some of your tasks include:

  • Make sure building supplies are stocked.
  • Willingness to operator Compactor and Bailor for waste management.
  • Support general office requests.  Communicate observations and verbal requests.
  • Deliver mail.
  • Performs min or repairs.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
  • Ability to use a computer for simple functions.
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
  • Works under close supervision.
  • Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
  • Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.

Facilities Tech II

Some of your tasks will include:

  • Make sure building supplies are stocked.
  • Willingness to operator Compactor and Bailor for waste management.
  • Support general office requests. Support facilities emergencies. Communicate observations and verbal requests.
  • Performs minor to moderate repairs.
  • Knowledge of basic construction tools.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Ability to use powered tools safely.
  • Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Ability to use a computer for simple functions and vendor search.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Normally follow established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
  • Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.

Facilities Tech III

Some of your tasks include:

  • Takes charge to keep all supplies stocked and place replenishment orders.
  • Assists with large projects.          
  • Willingness to operator Compactor and Bailor for waste management.
  • Manage a small team of people.
  • Oversee contractors.
  • Oversee repairs from minor to major.
  • Knowledge of construction
  • Knowledge of PM trades
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Ability to use powered tools safely.
  • Requires ability to handle tasks/assignments which are moderately complex in nature.  Some tasks may be complex in nature.
  • Judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
  • Use a computer as part of the job.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
  • Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
  • May train or occasionally lead a small group of lower level non-exempt associates.
  • Exudes leadership and takes initiative

Experience:

  • Typically, has over 2 years’ experience and advanced knowledge.
  • Must have an electrical background

Education:

High School Diploma or GED
