Job Description

Facility Manager

Direct Placement

A HOA in Bellevue seeks a Facility Manager for their association. You will need to understand minor construction as well as fire/safety/health codes. If you have previous experience in this area, apply now.

Responsibilities

  • Provide managerial leadership for preventive maintenance, repair and replacement of facility components.  Assure successful completion of the work.
  • Initiate scheduled and as-required maintenance, repairs and replacements.  Provide timely updates to the Board and seek approvals for projects where budget, schedule or owner satisfaction could be an issue.  
  • Manage the hiring, oversight and quality assurance of work performed by outside contractors 
  • Solicit bids, evaluate proposals from licensed, bonded contractors.
  • Assure completion of projects to specifications, schedule and budget.
  • Perform inspections to assure quality work.
  • Prepare punch lists and monitor to satisfactory completion.
  • Approve invoice billings for contract work and solicit designated Board member review and approval as required.
  • Assure all facilities, including pool and spa meet Health Department standards and maintenance guidelines.
  • Assure all facilities including the building and tennis court meet fire and safety requirements and are maintained on a scheduled preventive maintenance basis.
  • Respond immediately to emergencies on the property; call first responders if needed and secure premises and mitigate damage.

Requirements:

  • Minor construction background, must be able to complete work orders and fix things
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly
  • Ability to follow plans and write up reports and findings
  • Must be available on call for Emergency calls after hours
