Job Description

A very reputable Burbank company needs to hire a Field Auditor to perform analysis of the Pension and Health contributions received. 

This Direct Hire opportunity within a Finance Contribution department offers a fair starting Salary of $47-$50k, plus amazing healthcare benefits that the employer pays 100% and they also offer a Pension to employees. 

  • Responsible for compiling and reviewing information in order to audit companies.
  • Prepare the drafts and final audit reports, coordinate billing and collection of the findings as well as assist in resolving disputed findings to expedite collection
  • Work directly with Signatory Coordinator to assist in employer on-boarding and provide on-going assistance to employers in submitting contributions
  • Review all contracts and performs an audit of the participant’s overall earnings to determine if contributions have been reported properly
  • Audit participant residuals to confirm whether or not they are subject to contributions and ensure all residuals have been reported.
  • Interface with the Employer Compliance staff, Contributions staff, and the Attorneys to assist with answering questions or gathering information
  • Assist management with compliance matters
  • Answer employer and participant questions with regard to the proper reporting of contributions, Pension Plan Statements, and Health Fund Summaries

?Must have;

  • 4 year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience in at least 5 of the following areas:  payroll processing, contract administration, contribution reporting, client relations, collections, finance and accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • PC literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to excellence
  • Customer/Client focused
  • Will be responsible for 50-100 (or more) audits at any given time
  • Ability to understand legal documents (i.e. Collective Bargaining Agreements, Trust Agreements, contracts, arbitration awards, settlement agreements)
  • Capable of defining problems, collecting data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, and following through on proposed solutions
