Fleet DOT Administrative Clerk

Summary:

Provide clerical services that expedite and maintain repair and work orders and support fleet services staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency and excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fleet DOT Compliance experience.
  • Assists in the administration and coordination of the company’s fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records of vehicles.
  • Confirm receipt of documentation for completed repairs or preventative maintenance while ensuring that the necessary paperwork is in the fleet system for all fleet vehicles.
  • Assist in entering and tracking missing work orders and other maintenance documents
  • Provide back-up assistance to the Fleet Team and assist with other duties as needed

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Fleet DOT Compliance (titles, registrations, permits, emissions, etc.) processing.

Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office and must be proficient in Excel
  • Accelerated ability to learn quickly and to perform task with meeting strict deadlines with 100% accuracy of processing information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Skill to analyze detailed account information and to catch errors and make corrections before reports go out to managers.

  • Proven written and oral communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills
