Job Description

Exciting growth opportunity for a quality manager with food safety certification!  Join the management team of a rapidly expanding bakery.  Assess and document production and packaging operations, standardize procedures, train employees, and lead the company's HACCP food safety certification process. 

Oversee quality assurance activities, identify opportunities to increase production efficiency, quality, and safety; perform root cause analysis, and develop and implement process improvements as needed.  Produce, update and maintain documentation necessary for contractual and regulatory compliance.  Support the development of new business opportunities.

Must be food safety certified, experienced with food processing and HACCP documentation, and have management skills to identify and implement process improvements across multiple departments.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required; bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; must be goal oriented and self-motivated.  Great opportunity for advancement to senior management once abilities are proven.  Must be willing to work off-shifts as needed, during initial training as well as later if problems occur.
