Volt is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to work at John Deere’s facility in Moline, IL.  This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.  This role will focus on UI (Front End) development for the Order Management (OM) Billing & Invoice (BIN) team.  Within this role, you will get the rare opportunity to work on a large-scale global web application in a Fortune 500 company that is regularly ranked among the best companies to work for in the country. In this position, you will be responsible for collaborating with other engineers to drive application development and design to meet the BIN business requirements for the Billing & Invoice solution. In addition, you will:

• Design, develop, configure, and implement the Billing & Invoice solution
• Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance
• Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs
• Become the technical subject matter expert for the applications and ensure all required support documentation is complete and up to date
• Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of production support issues

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience

*** This position will start remote due to COVID but will be onsite at John Deere’s facility in Moline, IL once those restrictions are lifted.  Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.  ***
