Game Data Research Analyst in Addison, TX at Volt

Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to work in the video game industry as a Data Analyst?  We have a client that is looking for a candidate that can be a strategic team member to help with the analyzing of data for their exciting game titles!  This will be a direct-hire opportunity which can also be remote work from home.

The daily duties will include working with a team of developers, subject matter experts, designers and marketing teams to ensure the game being produced is providing the entertainment value to its customers.  The Data Analyst will provide an analysis of data by providing KPI’s, data visualization, digital dashboards and update the infrastructure as well as reporting so decisions can be made keep the game exciting for the target audience.  Trending analysis and utilizing tools for analytical measurement of data sources will be important for the opportunity.

The requirements include the following:

• Have an interest in the Video Game industry and a background working as a Data Analyst with B2C
• Experience with SQL, Python and Excel as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Experience with large data as well as data from multiple sources
• Have a desire to be analytical and work with numbers and contribute to the overall analysis of data that will contribute to the success of the video game being developed
• Enjoy working in a team environment and solving problems
• It is important that candidates understand the video game industry and Business to Consumer Analytics.
