Job Description

This position focuses on the development and maintenance of hardware infrastructure required for embedded electronics testing on the Abrams ECP 1B program.

The engineer will be responsible for:

  1. Collecting, collating, and analyzing system design information for testability needs
  2. Updating and maintaining benchtop test instrumentation, including:
  • HIL hardware system, including, but not limited to:
    • Electrical harnesses
    • Signal emulation and conditioning circuitry
    • Load simulation
    • Data acquisition
  • Real-time HIL applications using tools such as MathWorks MatLab / Simulink and National Instruments Veristand
  • Developing network-level surrogates using tools such as Vector CANoe
  1. Integration and test planning
  2. Collaborating with System Engineering, Subsystems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering teams on a regular basis
  3. Coordinating procurement of material required for integration test environment assemblyBSEE, MSEE, or other 4-year technical degrees with practical experience will be considered.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with the following, fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree;

  • Testing embedded electronics
  • Development of test logic utilizing tools such as such as Simulink, Labview, CANoe, or other development tools.
  • Electrical circuit and cable design.
  • Electronics troubleshooting.
  • Develop integration test plans, procedures, and test scripts

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 7 - 10 Years        

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelors Degree
