Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing and dynamic individual who enjoys working with people, has experience leading a team, and promotes and practices health promotions and wellness with their Bachelor's Degree in a Health Related Field. 

The Onsite Health Solutions Specialist is a one year contract role through Volt Workforce Solutions, representing HealthPartners, Onsite at one of HealthPartners leading clients in Saint Paul, Minnesota. You will serve as the main point of contact for the clients' employees and their families.  This is an Onsite, people facing role. 

The person in this role will be responsible for educating current members on their HealthPartners plans and programs along with day to day management of the Onsite.  This includes planning and implementation of Health Promotion, disease self-management programs, and risk reduction programs. Communication skills in this role is critical as you will work with the client and Human Resources to develop various education tools and advocacy for employees with HealthPartners benefits including medical benefits, dental plans, flexible spending accounts, health and well being, etc. Another key piece of this role will be providing support to employees regarding the clients medical benefit options through Open Enrollment !

Hours: M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM

Pay: $25-$26.50/hour

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota 


  • Promote HealthPartners health advocacy solutions
  • Serve as contact for escalated issues for employees and their families to connect them to the appropriate healthpartners team to assist them
  • Help with new employee onboarding to assist with benefits and resources
  • Develop communications to educate employees on HealthPartners benefits and opportunities to drive them to the highest health solutions 
  • Provide ongoing communication with Human Resources and and client
  • Help with employee inquiries 
  • Create, coordinate, implement, and evaluate HealthPartners health and well-being activities on behalf of client
  • Develop health improvement initiatives 
  • Create weekly/monthly communications for all-staff e-mails 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts in health related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience such as health plan or wellness administration 
  • Work well with a team and excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Computer skills to support data analysis (Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, and Visio)
  • Experience leading  teams
  • Ability to travel to other clients sites- up to 20%
