Volt | Help Desk - Call Receiver | Spokane, WA


We are seeking a Help Desk - Call Receiver to answer incoming calls for customers, create orders/tickets, escalate tickets and answer general inquires/questions as necessary.  

This is a contract to hire Help Desk Technician role in Spokane, WA and offered through Volt Workforce Solutions.  

The Technical Customer Support Representative will provide support to Help Desk Technicians. This role will involve communicating with customers and creating tickets that will help them overcome issues related to Point-of-Sale or IT Equipment. This role may also involve basic technical support tasks such as a password resets.

This role provides a career path into a IT Support role. This is a great position for someone with strong customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, and is interested in growing into a Technical Support role over time. 

Schedule- Sunday-Thursday 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Pay rate- $13-$14/hr DOE 


  • Answer calls, respond to emails and create tickets for multiple retail and hospitality customers.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining call logs in ticketing systems and routing calls to appropriate resource.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Follow up on customer calls where necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Call center and/or technical support experience is a bonus
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems in either a retail or hospitality environment a plus 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and availability to work in a 24/7/365 work environment
  • Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
