Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides first line technical support for ? local and remote users, resolving technical problems and answe? ring queries through various channels such as telephone, chat%?2C email, and tickets submitted online. Follows all company%?20and department documented policies and procedures. Identifies,? diagnoses isolates, and resolves problems with hardware, so? ftware, network, and system/applications utilizing technical s? kills, historical database records, and knowledgebase documentat? ion. Supporting commercial (COTS) software, customer specifi? c applications, internet browsers, desktops, laptops, mobile? devices and more.  May route tickets to product li? ne specialists, application, or system support specialists, ? requiring clearly documented descriptions of customers request and? any troubleshooting performed. Maintains and updates records ? in Incident Management system.  

? This is a shift work position in a 24x7x365 environment requ? iring flexibility in work hours.

  • Minimum 1 year of technical support experien? ce in a call center environment
  • Proven ha? rdware/software troubleshooting experience
  • Prov? en experience providing effective and professional communication,%?20addressing moderately complex technical issues via telephone, ? email, and chat
  • Demonstrated commitment and? ability to provide excellent customer service
  • %3? Cli>Ability to work well with all teammates in a fast-pace? d SLA driven environment
  • Interpersonal skills? and excellent written and oral communications, including the%?20ability to collaborate effectively
  • Understand? ing of IT concepts/practices and experience with common servic? e desk software.
  • Proven ability to think%?20and troubleshoot logically and act decisively in critical situ? ations
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office%2? 0and Windows OS in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with account administration and password resets in%?20a Microsoft Active Directory environment
  • Hi? gh school diploma or GED

    • Willingness to work any shift in a 24x7x365 envir? onment, including weekends and holidays
    • Abi? lity to arrive and start work promptly at beginning of sched? uled shift

    • 3+ years of experience in computer hardware/software%?20support
    • ITIL Certification
    • Familiarity with government IT environment and administrative%2? 0processes
    • Technical certifications such as A? +, N+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA
    • Strong w? orking knowledge of Windows 7, IE 8 and higher, Google a? pplications, VPN software, VDI, and other commonly used co? mmercial products
