Housekeeping Lead in Bakersfield, CA at Volt

VOLT is looking for a Housekeeping lead in Bakersfield, CA.

Position is full time. Must have 2-3 years experience working in a country club, apartment setting, or residential homes.

This is a Day shift position and you must be able to work weekends. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience required.

Duties:

• Lead will be in charge of 5 housekeepers 
• Will create employee schedules 
• Lead housekeeper will oversee and be very hands on with their staff
• Physical requirements - lifting, bending, climbing, pulling; Must be able to lift 20 lbs
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs 
• Keep facility clean and tidy
• Stock areas with supplies and amenities
• Mopping, sweeping and taking out the garbage
• Painting, changing door knobs, and changing light fixtures
• Other duties as assigned 
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred not required
