Housekeeping Worker in Edison, NJ at Volt

Job Description

Volt is currently seeking a Bi-lingual Housekeeping Worker in Edison, NJ.  The hours for this role are from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Daily trash removal
• Restock break area daily
• Follow all health and safety regulations

• The must-have’s:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of janitorial experience required
  • Ability to read written instructions in English
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
