Job: HR Analyst

Our client has a need for a HR Analyst for their facility in Boise, Idaho. This is a temp to hire position and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. Job Summary:

As an HR Analyst, you will be responsible for working independently on reporting, end user support, employee transactions, table maintenance, security and upgrades in PeopleSoft HRMS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HR, compliance and statistical reporting. Develop scheduled and ad hoc queries to assist management and customers. Perform data analysis and create infographics, tables, graphs, maps and other presentation visuals to communicate complex ideas, issues and trends.
  • Provide end user support and training for PeopleSoft HR, onboarding, recruiting and benefits enrollment systems.
  • Troubleshoot and test system problems.  Track, test and approve system updates and enhancements. 
  • Act as a liaison between the application development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
  • Partner with business associates and management to identify and document process requirements and functionality.
  • Evaluate and update necessary table changes in PeopleSoft for HR, onboarding and benefits.  
  • Serve as team leader or project manager to facilitate business and system process changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of 3-5 years of HR/Benefits reporting background and process knowledge in a shared services organization are required.
  • The HR/Benefits Reporting Analyst needs to have analytical and problem-solving skills. Specifically, they need to understand database structure (tables, records, fields, and how the data is related).
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Access databases, and complex query (effective dating, joins, unions, and sub-queries) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in query reporting.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HR.
  • Project Management experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Requires planning and organizing/work management skills.
  • Must be detailed and solution oriented.
  • Displays dedication and ownership with a can-do attitude.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven.
  • Must exercise independent judgment to resolve work.
  • Must display interpersonal, communication and process improvement skills while working under pressure.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative, team/group environment.
