Job Title: HR Associate
Location: Richmond, VA
Position Summary
Responsible for providing administrative support for the human resources function specifically related to the integration of a recent acquisition. Overall responsibilities will include the creation of retention letters, offer letters and other documents needed for the integration. Tracking the receipt of returned documents, evaluating them for completion, imaging them for retention and working on a regular basis with Finance on the details of financial cost of each agreement. The individual will be responsible for receiving requests for review of information included in regular contracts and bids for business that require coordination with other subject matter experts within HR, Legal and Compliance. Tracking their responses and information and providing a collective respond to the requesting teams. This individual may also be asked to attend work stream calls, take notes, document actions and follow up items and report out to the work stream leader on the status of outcomes. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating meetings, planning events, maintaining data and information on shared drives and working with other HR leaders on administrative tasks needed for integration. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
1+years’ experience
Comfortable with excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and shared drives; scheduling meetings, coordinating calls and documentation of notes. For Word needs to be able to execute a mail merge function and in Excel should have working knowledge of formulas and pivot tables.

Microsoft office (very skilled in word and good in excel), confidentiality and professionalism (will have access to confidential info like salaries), ability to take good notes and set follow up actions in a timely manner.
