Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for the right qualified candidate to support operations for our Branch in King of Prussia, PA.

We are looking for that candidate that is dependable, hard-working, a quick learner, that has good customer service skills, and can multi-task.

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of projects and or processes specific to the branch office including payroll, benefits, orientation or other support functions.  and may serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.

Job Title:          HR Coordinator

Duration:          Temp to Perm

Hours:             8:00 am to 5:00 pm - Monday through Friday

Pay Rate:          $16.00/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Answer the telephone and help or direct callers as appropriate and according to VWS guidelines.
  • Maintain proper Workers Comp Claims and Disability files and assist employees as necessary.
  • Assist on all UI claims.
  • Timely maintenance of administrative tasks.
  • Maintain email inbox and respond in a timely manner.
  • Order Office Supplies.
  • Process invoices.
  • Ensure timely data entry and maintain data integrity of candidate and field employee information as needed/requested.
  • Maintain file management per VWS guidelines.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal team members and business partners.


  • Responsible for processing weekly payroll for field employees, including receiving and distributing payroll and researching and resolving all related payroll issues.
  • Review timecard expected report weekly and make updates and changes to records as needed. Evaluate missing time report, taking appropriate action when needed.
  • Responsible for processing any referral bonuses and other employee benefits accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Send required payroll forms and documentation
  • Cross train on all payroll functions

Employee Support

  • Facilitate field employee onboarding process including, but not limited to:
  • Utilizing electronic forms including customer specific documents, Online Application, orientation, pre-employment screenings, Form I-9 and eVerify, driving direct deposit, explanation of benefits
  • Tier 1 employee questions and maintenance; turn calls into employee quality calls.
  • Ensure quality field employee experience through excellent customer service
  • Assist with questions, concerns and escalations on Employee Benefits


Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years related work experience.

Background in Customer Service preferred.

Experience developing strategy and strategic plans.

Staffing industry experience preferred.


Passionate about customer service.

Effectively communicate in writing, verbally and in person and via phone.

Strong interpersonal and communications (written and oral) skills.

Strong project management and organization skills.

Proficient in MS Office.

Ability to prioritize workload and track tasks through to completion.

Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet frequent deadlines.

Strong project coordination skills.

Strong attention to detail
