***HR Specialist to work in Staffing or Benefits Department***

Direct Hire Opportunity

Hillsboro

Volt is looking for a qualified HR Specialist to work in our client’s HR Department either supporting their Staffing OR Benefits areas.  The HR Specialist will work on the “HR Connect” team. HR Connect is the company’s centralized HR shared services organization that provides their employees and managers with HR transactional and inquiry support on a myriad of HR topics, tools and processes. HR Connect supports the needs of all the company’s employees and managers, as well as internal HR customers including Recruiters, HR Business Partners, Training Specialists, and Comp and Benefits Analysts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes performing core HR transactional work including but not limited to:

  • Responding to inquiries from employees, managers, HR customers, and external vendors
  • Performing data entry to HR systems (including SAP HR)
  • Scheduling candidate interviews and travel
  • Posting job openings
  • Data entering information to vendor systems
  • Conducting data audits
  • Running reports
  • Participating in maintenance of process documentation
  • Supporting and participating as a project team member in ongoing implementation and continuous improvement projects

Candidate Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of HR Specialist experience preferred
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in an interrupt-driven environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong focus on continuous process improvement
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
  • Work experience in an HR shared services model is a plus

Pay rate:  $43k - $45k - DOE
