Human Resources Specialist

M-F Day Shift 8:30-5

3 Month Assignment

$18-$20 Hourly

Hillsboro, OR

Are you looking for an entry level Human Resources position or looking to gain HR experience?  Do you have a passion for staffing or employee benefits? 

As part of a centralized team HR shared services team you will provide support to employees and managers in a variety of ways.

Responsibilities:

Includes performing core HR transactional work including but not limited to:

• Performing data entry to HR systems (including SAP HR)
• Scheduling candidate interviews
• New hire paperwork, pre-employment screenings and onboarding tasks
• Supporting and participating as a project team member in ongoing implementation and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of HR Specialist experience preferred
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and be patient/flexible in current work environment 
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong focus on continuous process improvement
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
• Work experience in an HR shared services model is a plus
