Job Description


As a strategic partner aligns business objectives with Pegatron management and acts as liaison between Pegatron and Staffing Agencies.  Responsible for all Company Human Resource policies, procedures and management.  Aligns procedures with Headquarters and EICC guidelines.  Trains Pegatron employees on all Human Resource topics such as Sexual Harassment, Progressive Discipline, Performance Criteria and Labor Laws. The HR Specialist will work closely with the EHS Manager acting as a backup on related issues by creating a strong partnership, assessing and anticipating HR/EHS-related needs.  The HR Specialist will: communicate business needs proactively with Pegatron management; seek to develop integrated solutions; formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: Other Duties as assigned.

  • Conduct weekly meetings with “Talent agencies” Program Staffing Representative
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Supplier “Talent agencies” to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with EHS Manager as needed/required.
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with Supplier and Pegatron Management to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Maintain complete HR records
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and coaching needs.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs.
  • Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 3 to 4 years Indiana and Kentucky HR experience or minimum of 8 - 10 years of the resolution of complex Indiana and Kentucky employee relation issues. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws. Relevant industry experience with Chinese bilingual is a plus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must follow all safety information pertaining to all potential warehouse hazards.  


Very minimal traveling maybe required for training purposes.
