Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a leading company in Irvine to help identify an experienced HR Business Partner for and immediate hire.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as an internal consultant to management and employees on human resource related issues, provide coaching, feedback and employee relations support
  • Support the alignment of the business units’ objectives by developing strategic HR initiatives
  • Proactively identifies issues and identifies integration solutions
  • An employee champion who assists with the development and implementation of change initiatives
  • Supports HR-related needs, communicating proactively to the appropriate Center of Expertise on the development of integrated solutions. 
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. 
  • Resolve employee relations issues with support from Legal and HRBP management.  Conducts effective, thorough, timely and objective investigations
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide support in the recruiting process (e.g., interviews & selection process)
  • Partner with Talent Management to provide support during the Performance/Talent Review process
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. Partner with Training to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Assist with separation processes including exit interviews, employment documents, payroll coordination and meetings as employees transition out of the Company
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

The preferred candidate will have:

  • 3 to 5 yeas of HR experience.
  • A completed Bachelors degree
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have strong MS Office skills

This position is temp to hire, possibly direct hire for the right candidate.

Pay is based on experience. Hours are full time, M-F from 8am – 5pm with some flexibility.
