Job Description

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing strong HR consultation to all levels of employees. This position assists employees and management in all HR aspects, such as employee relations, investigations, interpreting company policies and practices, problem-solving and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations including wage and hour law, labor law and civil rights law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations issues from temporary and in-house employees.
  • Intake and investigate complaints of discrimination and harassment from temporary and in-house employees.Perform full-cycle investigation procedures to ensure proper investigation protocols followed.
  • Ensure timely and effective customer service on all incoming calls e-mails within 24hours.
  • Conduct training on HR Training modules.
  • Travel to various worksites conduct training or handle employee relations/investigations.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform special assignments and complete projects as needed.

Position Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in a related field
  • Experience in a large, complex, multi-state company equired
  • Experience using People Soft a plus.
  • HR Generalist experience required
  • Some travel may be required

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of federal and multi-state wage and hour laws
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Sense of urgency
