Job Description

Right now, we are seeking an Information Assurance Technician.  In this role, you will provide IA scanning, patching, and application testing required to maintain Cybersecurity Certification and accreditation (C&A) for unmanned undersea vehicles, payloads, and shore-based fixed and transportable C4I infrastructure in both Windows and Linux operating environments.

The individual will provide IA maintenance support and advise the program on requirements to maintain and achieve Cybersecurity approvals in DIACAP/RMF (Authority to Operate (ATO), Interim Authority to Test (IATT), and Authority to Connect (ATC).

What you need to succeed:

  • Windows Technician:
    • At least 2 years of experience in: Cyber Security testing using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) in Windows operating system environments, conducting vulnerability assessments for verification purposes, AND generating report content for inclusion in DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)/Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages.
    • At least 2 years of experience in: conducting ACAS analysis using Nessus and Retina scanners, SCAP compliance checker, AND Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to update system information.
    • At least 2 years of experience in: applying security settings to Windows 7/10 workstations AND Windows 2008-R2/2012 servers to meet IA lockdown requirements.          
    • At least one year of experience in: with VMware Elastic Sky X (ESXi), virtual server imaging, AND with functional testing of applications using ActiveMQ messaging middleware.
  • Linux Technician:
    • At least 2 years of experience in Cyber Security testing using ACAS, SCAP and DISA STIGs in Linux operating system environments, conducting vulnerability assessments for verification purposes, AND generating report content for inclusion in DIACAP/RMF accreditation packages.
    • At least 2 years of experience in: conducting ACAS analysis using Nessus and Retina scanners, SCAP compliance checker, AND Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to update system information.
    • At least 2 years of experience applying security settings to Linux RHEL 5,6, and 7 servers to meet IA lockdown requirements.
    • At least one year of experience in: with VMware Elastic Sky X (ESXi), virtual server imaging, AND with functional testing of applications using ActiveMQ messaging middleware.
  • Applicants selected must have ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
