Volt | IAM Engineer | Hillsboro, OR

SUMMARY

We are seeking an individual to fill a position as an IAM engineer with a local company here in Hillsboro OR.

OVERVIEW:

The Identity Access Engineer implements, administers, and/or monitors enterprise Identity and Access services. The candidate will work with various technology and business stakeholders to ensure the secure rapid delivery of business value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer core IAM capabilities to include: IGA, PKI, UBA, password vaulting, privileged account management, and SSO
  • Engage with and influence key stakeholders to ensure that compliance, security and cross-functional requirements are met
  • Design solutions for foundational IAM principals including: least privilege access, password management, audit logging, certificate management, privileged access and user behavior analytics
  • Clearly communicate vision, user stories, plans and project status to management and key business stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency with common scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, BASH)
  • Analyze audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS diploma/GED required, Computer Science degree preferred
  • 2 + years of hands on engineering experience in the Identity and Access Management field
  • Experience with identity governance administration capabilities, SailPoint preferred
  • Experience in an ITIL and agile based IT organization
  • Knowledge and experience in API security standards
  • Experience with cloud service providers like Azure
  • Strong understanding of single sign-on and authentication technologies such as SAML, OpenID Connect and Kerberos
  • Experience internal audit concepts and regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX, GLBA, etc.)

  • Office environment – no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
  • Work involves: Sitting, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds.
