Position Summary

One of Volt's customers is looking for an Imaging Production Specialist to join their team.  The role is primarily responsible for performing document preparation and scanning tasks.  This role is vital in initiating the imaging process and obtaining specific objectives.  The right person for the position will work well independently as part of a larger team.  

Some of the responsibilities for this position include:

  • Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning
  • Document preparation and imaging
  • Scanning hard copy files to electronic images, ensuring quality images
  • Following production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking
  • Maintaining clean work environment
  • May be in a role that prepares the documents for scanning. (i.e., removing staples)
  • May perform data entry duties as needed
  • Other duties, as specified by Supervisor/Manager

Required Skills and Education

The person chosen for this role will possess the following skills and background:

  • Familiarity with PC and other computer related products.  
  • Document imaging experience, or the ability to learn.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English.  
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.   
  • The ability to remove staples, sort, file and box records.  
  • Must be able to maintain record order and sequence.  
  • Must be able to understand the importance of detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.  
  • Must be acceptable of change and long durations of project assignments.  
  • Demonstrate understanding for the importance and value of customers.   
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Minimum Education: High School 
  • Ability to complete training within the allotted time.
